    I’m excited to share with you the news that I am running for the Missouri State Senate!

 

    In the fall of 2010, Senator Joan Bray will leave office because of Missouri’s term limit laws and voters must elect a new State Senator for the 24th district.

    I have served the people of St Louis County as a member of the County Council, the Missouri House of Representatives and a local school board for over 25 years.

    My experience working at the local, county and state level has enhanced my ability to address the needs of our state and the St. Louis region.I have foughtfor our children,and seniors, protected our neighborhoods and created jobs. I have worked hard to bring a vision for the future to our region,county and state.

 

    Throughout my career in public service I have focused on investing wisely in education, health and the environment, transportation, job creation and economic progress, and ensuring needed government services are provided in an effective and cost efficient manner.  Protecting what matters most has been and remains my priority.

 

    I am determined to continue Senator Bray’s tradition of honesty, integrity and accountability in government.

 

    Because I know you share these goals I am asking for your help. With my energy and enthusiasm and your help, I am certain that together we will continue to make a difference for the people of Missouri;  together we can win this race.
